Damien Martyn in Coma: Bad news has come related to former Australian cricket team batsman Damien Martin. According to Australian media, Martin has been kept in a coma due to treatment for meningitis. In his 14-year long career, he won Australia 2 World Cups. Reports are claiming that his condition is critical. He fell ill on Boxing Day, after which he is undergoing treatment in Brisbane hospital.
Adam Gilchrist gave information
Australia’s famous newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald, after receiving information from former Australian wicketkeeper batsman Adam Gilchrist, confirmed that Damien Martyn has been admitted to the hospital. According to the report, his health deteriorated on Boxing Day, after which he was admitted to a hospital in Brisbane. The doctor diagnosed him with meningitis and started treatment, however, due to a reaction to some medicines, Martin’s condition deteriorated and he went into a coma.

He has 13 centuries in Test and 5 centuries in ODI. He is also the player who won the 1999 and 2003 World Cups.
