After Donald Trump, China now claims to mediate a ceasefire, India flatly denies it.
New Delhi. India has completely rejected China’s claim of mediating the ceasefire between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. According to Indian government sources, this was completely a matter between two countries and there was no third party role in it in any way. India said that direct talks were held between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of the two countries and the ceasefire came into effect thereafter. India bluntly said that we have already given clarification regarding such claims of arbitration.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said that China had mediated to end the war between India and Pakistan. Apart from this, he also claimed to mediate in Northern Myanmar, Iranian nuclear issue, issue between Palestine and Israel and military conflict between Cambodia and Thailand. Let us tell you that before this, US President Donald Trump has given himself credit many times for stopping the war between India and Pakistan. However, India has consistently denied that any third country conducted mediation between India and Pakistan.

Even in September this year, Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar himself had rubbished Trump’s mediation claim. Ishaq Dar had said in his interview to Aljazeera channel that during Operation Sindoor, America itself had come up with a ceasefire proposal, but India did not accept it. He told that earlier we were assured by America that talks would be held with India but later it was told that India did not agree to America’s mediation proposal.
