Swiggy-Zomato’s big bet amid strike, delivery boys will get this much extra money per order from 6 pm to 12 midnight

Gig Workers Strike: Amidst the strike by gig and platform workers across the country, food delivery companies have taken a big step to maintain operations. Swiggy-Zomato and other platforms have increased delivery incentives considering the busiest days and peak hours of the year. This decision has been taken amid the nationwide strike declared by delivery worker unions on 25 and 31 December.

To avoid any disruption in delivery services during the strike and to meet the increasing demand of customers, platforms have introduced new earning offers. The purpose of these offers is to encourage delivery partners to work and handle the heavy year-end ordering.
