‘Dhurandhar’ shines at the box office, crosses Rs 700 crore earning mark in India
The film ‘Dhurandhar’, directed by Aditya Dhar, is maintaining a strong hold at the box office. This Ranveer Singh starrer film is performing well even in its fourth week of release. In India, the film has crossed the Rs 700 crore mark, while its worldwide earnings have reached more than Rs 1,100 crore.
Now the next target of ‘Dhurandhar’ is to leave behind Shahrukh Khan’s blockbuster film ‘Jawaan’. However, there was a slight decline in the film’s earnings on the 25th day of its release, but the film picked up pace again the very next day. According to SACNILC report, ‘Dhurandhar’ made a business of Rs 11.25 crore on the 26th day, which is more than the business of Rs 10.5 crore on the 25th day.
With this the Indian box office collection of the film has reached Rs 712.25 crore. At the same time, the worldwide collection has crossed Rs 1,101 crore, making it the seventh highest-grossing Indian film. Now it has come very close to the sixth place ‘Jawaan’ (Rs 1,160 crore).
On the other hand, the troubles of Kartik Aryan and Ananya Pandey starrer ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’ do not seem to be reducing at the box office. According to Sacknilk, the film earned only Rs 1.75 crore even on the sixth day of its release, which is the same as on the fifth day. Within a week, the total earning of the film has come down to only Rs 27 crores. Despite the presence of big stars, the film is failing to attract the audience.
