Dharmendra’s last film ‘Ikkis’ approved by CBFC, order to remove 15 seconds of dialogue
Tezzbuzz Desk – Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away on 24 November 2025. After his departure, the release of his last film ‘Ikkis’ is considered a very important and emotional moment for the film industry and fans. Now the Censor Board (CBFC) has given U/A certificate to this film, so that viewers above 13 years of age can watch it under the supervision of parents.
Censor Board suggested changes
Although the film has been passed, the Censor Board has directed to remove a 15-second dialogue related to India-Pakistan, so that there is no controversy. Additionally, instructions have been given to change the name of a tank in the film and to express gratitude to the Poona Horse Regiment, Colonel Hanut Singh and the tank crew in the opening disclaimer. The board also asked that pictures of warriors and introductory voiceovers be added.
Film Length and Starcast
The total length of ‘Ikkis’ is approximately 2 hours 27 minutes. The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan and will see the debut performance of Agastya Nanda. Apart from this, actors like Jaideep Ahlawat, Simar Bhatia and late Asrani are also in lead roles in the film.
Release date and audience expectations
The film will be released in theaters on January 1, 2026. Being Dharmendra’s last film, there is huge enthusiasm among the audience and fans for it. Now all eyes are on what impact ‘Ikkis’ leaves at the box office and in the hearts of the audience.
