‘Section 375’ writer blames Akshaye Khanna for signing second film

Serious allegations against Akshay Khanna

Desk. Akshay Khanna, who came into limelight with his excellent performance in the film ‘Dhurandhar’, is now surrounded in controversies. After his exit from the new film ‘Drishyam 3’, the makers accused him of unprofessional attitude and also considered legal action. Meanwhile, writer Manish Gupta has also made serious allegations against Akshay Khanna.

Manish Gupta’s allegation

In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Manish Gupta told that Akshay had signed for the film ‘Section 375’. He told that in 2017, Akshay had signed an agreement for this film, in which his fee was fixed at Rs 2 crore. Akshay took an advance of Rs 21 lakh and signed the contract. After this, suddenly he gave his scheduled dates to another film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ and went to London. Due to this his team had to sit without work for six months.

breach of contract

Manish further said that after the completion of the shooting of the film, Akshay demanded Rs 325 crore, whereas the contract with him was only for a fee of Rs 2 crore. Thus, he breached the contract. According to the writer, Akshay tried to have complete control over the film and wanted everything to happen as per his wish. Manish clarified that he is not a director who accepts all the demands of an actor.

warning of legal action

Gupta said that he had warned Akshay that if this problem was not resolved, he would drag him to court. After this he sent two legal notices to producer Kumar Mangat. Manish’s lawyer was preparing to file a case in the Bombay High Court, but Kumar Mangat settled the matter outside the court. In such a situation, Akshay’s behavior is now bringing serious consequences for him in ‘Drishyam 3’ also.
