UP: Preparations for reshuffle in the state cabinet after Makar Sankranti, formation of new state executive of BJP…
Uttar-Pradesh: After Makar Sankranti, there is a possibility of major changes in the government of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh. Along with the reshuffle in the state cabinet, a new state executive of BJP will also be formed. In this change, the formula of exchange between the BJP organization and the government can be adopted.
Let us tell you that this change was discussed in depth in the core committee meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Tuesday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary, State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal Singh and RSS area campaigners East Anil and West Mahendra Kumar were also present in the meeting. This meeting is being considered important from the point of view of 2027 assembly elections.
Let us tell you, according to sources, faces from some organizations can be brought into the government, while some ministers can be given important responsibilities in the organization. This reorganization is being planned under the leadership of BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. There is also a possibility of former state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary joining the government.
There are a total of 54 ministers including the Chief Minister in the state cabinet, while a maximum of 60 ministers can be made. Jitin Prasad, former PWD Minister, and Anup Pradhan, former Minister of State for Revenue, have become MPs after the Lok Sabha elections. Jitin Prasad is also a Minister of State in the Central Government. In such a situation, there is a possibility of new faces being given a chance.
Let us tell you that after the meeting, State President Pankaj Chaudhary has left for Delhi, where he will give complete information to the high command. There is also a plan to make some ministers of state (independent charge) as cabinet ministers. Apart from this, on the basis of departmental performance, administrative report and SIR, a plan can be made to send some ministers to the organization.
It has also been agreed to fill the vacant posts in commissions and boards in the state. Leaders of Western Uttar Pradesh can be given important responsibilities to maintain caste and regional balance.
