CBSE Controller of Examinations Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj informed that the class 10th examination to be held on March 3 will now be held on March 11, 2026. At the same time, the new date for the related examination of class 12th (CBSE exam date change 2026) has been fixed as 10 April 2026. The board has also clarified that apart from these examinations, no change has been made in the examination dates of all other subjects.
The Board has requested all the affiliated schools to immediately convey the information about this change in the examination dates to the students and their parents, so that no confusion or inconvenience is created. CBSE has also assured that the revised datesheet will be updated soon on the official website.
It is noteworthy that the examination for regional language subjects of class 10th was scheduled on March 3, 2026 (CBSE exam date change 2026). These included Tibetan, German, NCC, Bhoti, Bodo, Tangkhul, Japanese, Bhutia, Spanish, Kashmiri, Mizo and other languages. Along with this, the examination of Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy was also proposed on the same day. At the same time, the examination of Legal Studies in class 12th was to be held on March 3.
CBSE has informed the schools that necessary changes are being made in the datesheet as per the revised examination schedule. The board also clarified that when the admit cards are issued, the changed exam dates will be clearly mentioned in them, so that the students do not face any problem in appearing in the exam.
