New Green Field Expressway in UP, good news for these districts!
News Desk. There is good news for the districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. Ghazipur, Ballia and surrounding districts, which have been struggling with road and connectivity problems for a long time, have now woken up to new hope. The government has decided to build a green field expressway in this area, which will not only pave the way for progress in these districts but will also ensure better connectivity with Chhapra, Patna and Buxar of Bihar.
This expressway will connect with the Purvanchal Expressway and give a new direction to the road facilities of the area. The project will not only increase transportation ease but will also open new doors to jobs and economic opportunities. This will increase trade, industry and economic activities between eastern UP and Bihar.

The route of the expressway will go from Ghazipur to the border of Ballia and Bihar.
Overall Length: 134.3 km
estimated budget: Rs 5320 crore
Major Locations: Hridaypur village on NH-29, Chhapra-Manjhi NH-19 cross, Rivilganj bypass to Bihar border.
