This sensational case came to light when the accused targeted the house of a dairy operator in Amarnath Colony on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday. At around 12:30 in the night, the dairy operator saw someone’s shadow in his balcony. As soon as he opened the door and challenged the thief, the accused got scared and started running away with the stolen clothes. In this commotion, the accused’s ‘Shramik Card’ fell from his pocket. His name was written as ‘Deepesh’ on the card. On the basis of this clue, the police started investigation and by afternoon they arrested him.

Two houses burgled in one night

Investigation has revealed that Deepesh had burglarized not just one but two houses that night. Before reaching the dairy operator’s house, he had also targeted a house in Mandakini Colony and stole women’s clothes from there too. While running, some clothes had fallen from him, which have been confiscated by the police. A video of the time of his arrest is also going viral on social media, in which the accused is clearly seen wearing stolen clothes.
