Another year has come to a close and it has been a mixed one for the Azzurri.

The Italian national team have seen Luciano Spalletti leave his role as head coach, replaced by former Italy & Serie A icon Gennaro Gattuso.

A disappointing World Cup qualifying campaign saw the nation finish second behind Norway and, therefore, face play-offs in the Spring to determine their fate for the summer’s competition.

There is not just the men’s national team to think about either, with the women’s sides, youth teams and even beach football teams all having strong 2025s.

To celebrate, the Azzurri official X account has posted a compilation of the top 5 goals, from around the different teams, for the year.
