Bihar: On the last day of the year 2025, the Cabinet Secretariat Department of Bihar Government made public the details of the assets of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and ministers. After this revelation, the discussion regarding the financial condition of the leaders in the state politics has intensified. According to the data, both his Deputy Chief Ministers appear to be more prosperous than Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

It is clear from the released details that while the Chief Minister has limited cash and movable assets, the amount of cash, bank balance, investments and jewelery in the assets of Deputy CMs Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha is much higher.

Complete details of assets of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar

According to declared assets, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has a total of Rs 20,552 in cash. Three bank accounts are registered in his name. Rs 27,217 are deposited in State Bank of India, Patna Secretariat branch, Rs 3,358 are deposited in SBI Parliament House, Delhi branch and Rs 27,191 are deposited in PNB Boring Road branch.

According to the data, the total movable assets of the Chief Minister is Rs 17 lakh 66 thousand 196. As immovable property, he has flat number A-305 in Sansad Bihar Cooperative Housing Society, Dwarka, Delhi, whose current market value is estimated to be around Rs 1 crore 48 lakh.

Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary has more cash and investments

Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary has Rs 1 lakh 35 thousand in cash, while his wife is said to have Rs 35 thousand in cash. He also has a huge amount deposited in his bank accounts. Rs 15 lakh 35 thousand 789 are registered in SBI account and Rs 2 lakh 9 thousand 688 are registered in HDFC Bank account.

Samrat Chaudhary has also invested in bonds and shares. The amount is also deposited in different bank accounts in the names of his wife, son and daughter.

Samrat Chaudhary has a Bolero Neo car of 2023 model, whose estimated price is Rs 7 lakh. He has 200 grams of gold, whose value is said to be around Rs 20 lakh. His wife also has 200 grams of gold registered.

Apart from this, he also has an NP bore rifle and a revolver. A flat worth Rs 29 lakh has been registered in the name of his wife in Gola Road, Patna.

Property of Health Minister Mangal Pandey

Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey has cash, gold and silver, vehicles and weapons. He has a total of Rs 59 thousand in cash. An amount of more than one crore rupees is deposited in his bank accounts.

Rs 1 crore 1 lakh 66 thousand 660 have been deposited in Patna-based SBI account and Rs 18 lakh 83 thousand 415 have been deposited in PNB RK Avenue account. His total movable assets are Rs 1 crore 32 lakh 16 thousand 75. He also has 240 grams of gold and a rifle worth Rs 52 thousand, along with a Tata Safari vehicle.

Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha has Rs 88 thousand 560 in cash and more than Rs 55 lakh is deposited in his bank accounts. He has also invested shares in companies like Shiva Biogenetics and Power Grid. According to the declaration, he has 90 grams of gold jewellery, whose value is estimated to be around Rs 9 lakh 90 thousand.

Income and family assets of Minister Ashok Chaudhary

Minister Ashok Chaudhary has declared a total income of Rs 20 lakh 34 thousand for the financial year 2024-25. Rs 53 lakh 86 thousand are deposited in his bank accounts.

His wife Neeta Chaudhary has an amount of more than Rs 22 crore 54 lakh in her bank accounts. He has 800 grams of gold and precious stone jewellery, whose value is said to be Rs 9 crore 60 lakh. A revolver worth Rs 1 lakh is also registered with Ashok Choudhary.
