Kitchen gas becomes cheaper since New Year, PNG prices reduced – Know the new rates of Delhi, Gurugram and Noida

PNG: Before the beginning of the new year 2026, there is a relief news for the common people. IGL has announced a reduction in the prices of domestic piped natural gas (PNG). The company has reduced the price by ₹0.70 per standard cubic metre. These new rates will be applicable from January 1, 2026. This relief before the New Year is being considered no less than a gift for the general public.

Direct benefit to the people of Delhi and NCR

The use of PNG has increased rapidly in Delhi and surrounding areas. PNG is considered cheaper and hassle-free as compared to gas cylinders. With this decision of IGL, the kitchen expenses of the consumers of Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad will become a little lighter.

Know the new rates of Delhi, Gurugram and Noida

After the price cut, the new rate of PNG in Delhi has become ₹47.89 per SCM. Now consumers in Gurugram will get gas at the rate of ₹ 46.70 per SCM. Whereas in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the new price of PNG has been fixed at ₹ 47.76 per SCM. That means direct savings on gas bills every month.

Why were PNG prices reduced?

IGL has said in its statement that the aim of the company is to make clean and cheap energy available to as many people as possible. Stepping into the new year 2026, IGL has once again reiterated that it will take care of the environment as well as the pockets of the common people. This decision has been taken by balancing the availability and cost of gas.
