Inflation shock on the first day of the new year, price of LPG cylinder increased, costlier by Rs 111

How much will the cylinder cost in Delhi?

Oil companies have implemented the increased rates from January 1 today. This means that till now the commercial LPG cylinder which was available for Rs 1580.50 will be available for Rs 1691.50. 111 was increased directly. This increase will be a big blow to small businessmen. Apart from Delhi, LPG cylinder which is available for Rs 1684 in Kolkata will be available for Rs 1795. Instead of Rs 1739.5, the cylinder which was available in Chennai for Rs 1849.50 and in Mumbai for Rs 1531.50, will now be available for Rs 1642.50.

Small traders got a shock

Let us tell you, the price of commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 5 in November and Rs 10 in December, but in January, the oil companies have shocked small traders by increasing the price by Rs 111. It is mostly used in restaurants, dhabas, hotels and other non-domestic purposes.

No change in the price of domestic cylinder

According to oil companies, only the prices of LPG cylinders have been increased. There has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders after April 8, 2025. That means even today domestic gas cylinder will be available at the earlier rate.
