Deputy Chief Minister will inaugurate Golok Darshan Mahotsav today at Basaman Mama Cow Sanctuary.

Reva. Thousands of destitute cows are being given shelter in Basaman Mama Cow Sanctuary located in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh, along with which many models of natural farming and organic farming are being developed there. Golok Darshan Mahotsav is being organized today (Thursday) at Basaman Mama Cow Sanctuary. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla will inaugurate this Golok Darshan Mahotsav.

In this regard, Dr. Rajesh Mishra, Secretary of the Cow Sanctuary Management Committee, said that the cow sanctuary is situated near Basaman Mama Tirtha. In the Golok Darshan organized here, the general public can visit the cowshed and worship the cows. Along with this, the general public will also get the opportunity to see various experiments being done for natural farming. A dining room like a traditional kitchen has been constructed in the cow sanctuary. In this, the general public can also enjoy traditional food prepared using local methods. The food hall is being run by Gaupharma Farmers Organization.

Dr. Mishra said that grains are being cultivated from traditional seeds in the natural model being prepared in Basaman Mama. No kind of chemical, pesticide or chemical fertilizer is used in these. Only fertilizers and organic pesticides prepared from cow dung and cow urine are used in crops. It is believed that 33 crore gods reside in the cow. Following the ancient tradition of cow service, Golok Darshan Mahotsav has been organized on the occasion of New Year to connect the general public with cow service and natural farming.

Deputy Chief Minister will take review meeting today at Basaman Mama

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla will today review the activities and ongoing construction works in Basaman Mama Gauvansh Vanya Vihar. After this, the Deputy Chief Minister will leave for Chitrakoot and after paying darshan and worship at the Kamtanath temple in Chitrakoot, he will circumambulate the Kamadgiri mountain. Shukla will reach Maihar at 5 pm and visit Mother Sharda Devi and then leave for Bhopal by Revanchal Express from Maihar at 9.20 pm.
