Before the tournament, famous commentator Akash Chopra has made many predictions, in which he has said that this year, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Smriti Mandhana and Delhi Capitals’ Shafali Verma can leave all the other batsmen behind in terms of runs. At the same time, Aakash Chopra has also given his stand regarding the winner of the tournament. He has chosen Delhi Capitals, the last three-time runner-up, as the champion of 2026.
Aakash Chopra has described Smriti Mandhana as the strongest contender for the Orange Cap (most runs). “I think Smriti Mandhana can be the highest run-scorer this season.
