In such a situation, the death toll may increase.

1300 people fell ill after drinking contaminated water

According to media reports, many people fell ill after drinking contaminated water in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. After this he was admitted to local hospitals. According to the information, 1300 people are still ill in the city due to the use of contaminated water, out of which more than 100 people have been admitted to various hospitals of the city, where their condition remains critical.

Mohan Yadav government assured strict action

Taking the matter seriously, State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has constituted an investigation committee and assured strict action against the culprits. Describing the situation as an ’emergency’ on Wednesday, he said that the government is monitoring the situation and providing all possible assistance to the victims. CM Mohan Yadav said, “The state government will not tolerate any kind of negligence. We are ready to take the strictest action against those responsible for this incident.” He further said, “I have directed the officials to properly investigate the complaints related to leakage in drinking water and sewer lines in all areas of the city and make necessary arrangements to prevent such incidents in future.”

Kailash Vijay reached to meet the victims

Meanwhile, MLA from Indore-1 constituency and Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya reached to meet the victims on Thursday. During this he said that strict action will be taken against the culprits. He said that the government has set up separate wards for patients in the government Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital and private Sri Aurobindo Ayurved Institute of Indore.

Madhya Pradesh High Court took cognizance

When the number of judges in the court increased to 13, the Madhya Pradesh High Court took cognizance of the incident and directed the state government to provide free treatment to the affected people. Along with this, the High Court has also sought a report on the matter from the government and has directed the Indore Municipal Corporation to ensure that clean and pure drinking water is provided to the people.
