Nalagarh Blast Near Solan Police Station: A massive explosion occurred on the first day of the new year in Nalagarh in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The blast took place in a street near the police station, shattering the glass of nearby buildings and the Army hospital. It is being told that the sound of the explosion was heard about 400-500 meters away.

At present the police have sealed the spot. SP Baddi Vinod Dhiman and forensic team have reached the spot. It is not yet clear what caused the explosion.

Forensic team was called from Shimla

According to the information, SP Baddi Vinod Dhiman has reached the spot with his team and the forensic team has been called from Shimla. Initial investigation has revealed that the police station building, ECHS Polyclinic and Market Committee office have been damaged in this incident. According to local people, the explosion that occurred in the morning was so strong that people got scared and there was chaos in the area. People sitting at tea shops were also scared.

A migrant laborer present at the spot told that he was sitting nearby when suddenly there was an explosion and the entire area trembled. Another laborer said that nothing was visible for a few moments and large windows of buildings were shattered. No one understood the reason for the explosion.

As soon as the information was received, the team of Nalagarh police station reached the spot and completely sealed the area by placing barricades on both sides. Police are investigating the case from every angle. Till now no official statement has been issued by the police administration or SP regarding the incident. Meanwhile, from his official residence in Shimla, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has said that detailed information has been sought from the police department regarding the Nalagarh blast.

Police said that the help of forensic experts is being taken to find out the real cause of the blast. The team of experts is collecting samples from the ground, so that it can be known whether it was caused by any explosive substance or there was some other technical reason.
