AFC Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo is set for a sensational switch to Premier League giant Manchester City in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that Semenyo will choose Pep Guardiola’s City over interests from Manchester United and reigning champion Liverpool.
According to a report in the Guardianthe only remaining issue is the structure of payment to Bournemouth over the player’s £65m release clause.
Semenyo has been among the standout players in the league with nine goals and three assists in 17 outings for the Cherries.
After a strong start to the campaign, Bournemouth’s form has tailed off in recent months as the club sits 15th with 22 points.
City is preparing to challenge for the title as it stands just two points behind leader Arsenal in second place.
