In fact, many players of the Indian team, which clean swept Sri Lanka in the 5-match T20 series, reached the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain. These players took part in the famous Bhasma Aarti of the temple.

Actually, the video of Indian cricket team players visiting Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple is going viral on social media. In this video, other players including Smriti Mandhana, Shefali Verma, Renuka Singh Thakur, Sneh Rana, Radha Yadav and Arundhati Reddy are seen sitting in the temple premises and praying during the aarti. Let us tell you that in the year 2025, the Indian women’s team achieved many achievements. The biggest achievement in which was to win the World Cup trophy for the first time.

The Indian team is continuously performing well. The team has not lost a single T20I series after being out of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Now the Indian team is eyeing preparations for the T20 World Cup 2026 to be held this year. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led team will face Australia in February 2026 and England in May 2026 to finalize their preparations.
