Singapore Airlines has surpassed 12 other rivals to be named the world’s leading airline to Asia at the 2025 World Travel Awards, thanks to its excellent in-flight service and cabin comfort.
This is the seventh year Singapore’s national flag carrier has won the title.
Founded in 1972, Singapore Airlines has established a longstanding reputation for excellence in safety, service, and overall customer experience.
Singapore Airlines offers extensive flights across Asia, connecting Singapore to major hubs and secondary cities in Southeast Asia (Bangkok, Bali, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Manila), East Asia (Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Taipei), and South Asia (India, Maldives, Colombo).
As of 2025, the airline and its subsidiary Scoot flies to 120 international destinations in 46 countries and territories from its primary hub in Singapore.
The World Travel Awards, established in 1993, recognize excellence in the travel and tourism industry and are often referred to as the “Oscars of the travel industry.” These annual awards are determined by votes from both travel industry professionals and the public.
