The excitement of the party and the tiredness of the kitchen? 5 desi snacks that will win the hearts of guests in just 10 minutes – ..

News India Live, Digital Desk: You might be a little tired after last night’s celebration, but it is not possible for it to be the first day of the year and not have guests at home. We often order pizza or samosas from outside, but home-made cheese has its own taste and a ‘personal touch’. Today I am telling you about 5 such snacks which neither require any rocket science nor hours of preparation to make.

1. Spicy Bread Pizza (griddle)
Don’t have an oven? No problem. Apply some pizza sauce (or tomato ketchup) on the bread slices, place finely chopped capsicum, onion and cheese pieces. Add lots of mozzarella cheese on top and cover the pan with a lid and cook on low flame for 5 minutes. It is everyone’s favorite from children to adults.

2. Desi Style Nachos Chaat
Get a packet of nachos from the market, spread it on a plate. Sprinkle chopped onion, tomato, green coriander, some sev bhujia and chaat masala on top. If you have curd at home then beat it a little and add it on top. Believe me, as easy as it is to make, it is equally ‘hit’ in taste.

3. Crispy Corn Chaat
Simply boil sweet corn (or use frozen), add some corn flour and lightly fry it. When they become crunchy, add lemon, salt and red chili powder and serve hot. Crispy corn and tea are a wonderful accompaniment in this winter season.

4. Instant Paneer Fingers
Cut long pieces of paneer, wrap them in salt-pepper solution and some gram flour. Fry lightly and serve with mint chutney. Paneer is such a thing which adds to the grandeur of every gathering.

5. Crunchy Papad Rolls
Lightly wet the papad, fill the potato stuffing (boiled potato masala) in the middle and roll it and fry it. These snacks are so crispy that people will forget to eat samosas.

Special tip:
Cooking is not just the name of the recipe, while cooking it, play the song of your choice and have fun with friends. After all, the joy of New Year is not about getting busy in the kitchen, but about making memories. So this time surprise your guests with the taste of your hands
