Kylian Mbappe, the Real Madrid forward, has been diagnosed with a left knee injury creating concern among fans and the club regarding his availability in the LaLiga fixtures and the upcoming Spanish Supercopa.
The Spanish club issued an official statement: “Following tests carried out today by Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Kylian Mbappe, he has been diagnosed with a sprain in his left knee.”
“His progress will be monitored,” the club said.

The news sparked an outpouring of support on social media with “Get Well Soon” messages trending globally.
It is important to note that “Donatello” is the top scorer in the LaLiga with 18 goals this season. In December, he scored his 59th goal in 2025, equalling the record held by Cristiano Ronaldo for the most goals in a single calendar year for Real Madrid.
The Frenchman played in all 18 of Madrid’s league games so far but missed the match with Manchester City on December 10, which Real Madrid lost 1-2.

According to French daily L’Equipe, Mbappe is expected to be sidelined from the ground for at least three weeks.
As a result, he is likely to miss the upcoming matches against Real Betis and the Spanish Supercopa semi-final against Atletico Madrid in Saudi Arabia.
