Intelligence agency CIA claims, Ukraine did not target Putin

Washington. America’s intelligence agency Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has refuted Russia’s claim that Ukraine had carried out a deadly drone attack targeting the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

US officials say the CIA has assessed the Ukraine drone strike to determine the truth after the Kremlin’s claim. It has been revealed that Ukraine did not target the residence used by Russian President Vladimir Putin in the recent drone attack in the north of its country. This conclusion of the CIA proves the Russian leader’s allegations during a phone call with President Donald Trump on Monday wrong. According to a CNN report, officials said that CIA Director John Ratcliffe informed President Trump about this assessment on Wednesday.

Notably, Russia had publicly alleged that Ukraine tried to attack Putin’s house on Monday. After this, Trump told journalists that he was troubled by this action of Ukraine. However, Ukraine had denied such an attack from its side.
