Customers literally cry over this Maruti Suzuki car! Not even 1 unit has been sold since last 5 months

  • Customers turned their backs on Maruti Suzuki cars
  • Big drop in Maruti Ciaz sales
  • Not a single unit has been sold for the last 5 months

In the Indian auto market, we will find many vehicle manufacturing companies. However, the most popular among them is the auto company Maruti Suzuki. The company’s cars are always top sellers. Be it Wagon R or Ertiga, the company has offered powerful cars in various segments. The company has also recently introduced e Vitara in the EV segment. However, one of Maruti’s cars has been literally cried over by customers.

Maruti Suzuki India has announced its December sales report. Compared to December 2025, the company has reported better sales across all segments. However, one car has disappointed the company. The company’s premium sedan, Ciaz, has failed to sell well. This is the fifth consecutive month of zero sales for the Ciaz. Interestingly, the company discontinued the Ciaz in April 2025. However, some Nexa dealers still have stock left, which is not exhausted.

From today, the cars of these 7 companies have become expensive, the list also includes cheap cars

In fact, dealers are discounting the Ciaz every month, making it available at a cheaper price of up to 50000. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 9.41 lakh. However, some Ciaz models are out of stock. As the model year has also changed, it remains to be seen how the rest of the Ciaz units will sell in the new year. In such cases, the company may offer significant discounts.

Features

Maruti Suzuki rolled out new safety updates to its luxury sedan Ciaz in February 2024. Along with this, the company has introduced 3 new dual-tone color options in this car. The dual-tone options include Pearl Metallic Opulent Red with Black Roof, Pearl Metallic Grandeur Gray with Black Roof and Dignity Brown with Black Roof. The new variant has been launched in both manual and automatic transmission options.

The company has not made any changes in terms of engine. The Ciaz is powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 103bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. According to the company’s claim, the manual version of the Ciaz returns a mileage of 20.65 km/l while the automatic version returns 20.04 km/l.
