Bridge will be built on Narayani river in UP, good news for these districts
Kushinagar. The beginning of the new year has brought a big gift for the people living on both banks of the Narayani river flowing on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The long awaited Bhainsha Ghat bridge project has now received approval from the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) of the government. This bridge will not only make traffic easier but will also prove to be a historic step towards the overall development of Diara area.
The bridge will be built at a cost of more than Rs 715 crore
This proposed bridge on Narayani river will be built at a cost of approximately Rs 715.73 crore. The Uttar Pradesh government has formally started further action regarding the construction of the bridge. Necessary instructions have been issued to the Public Works Department so that the project can be implemented within the stipulated time.
The old dream of Khadda area will be fulfilled
This project is going to take shape due to the efforts of Vivekananda Pandey, MLA of Khadda Assembly constituency. People of Diara area had been demanding this bridge for years. The construction of the bridge will directly benefit the surrounding areas including Khadda and the connectivity of the area with the main roads will be strengthened.
Relief from the compulsion of boat in the rain
Till now the people of Diara area had to depend on boats to cross the river during the rainy season. Many times, connectivity was completely lost due to floods, which had a negative impact on education, health and employment. This problem will be solved permanently with the construction of the bridge.
Easy journey to UP-Bihar and Nepal
With the construction of this bridge, not only will the traffic between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar become easier, but the connectivity with Nepal will also be improved. This will promote trade, movement of agricultural products and regional cooperation.
Education, health and employment will be strengthened
Better road connectivity will facilitate students to reach schools and colleges. Patients will be able to get health services on time. It will be easier for farmers to take their produce to the market, which will increase their income. New opportunities will also open for laborers and businessmen.
