China Taiwan News In Hindi: Tension between China and Taiwan has once again reached its peak. China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has launched ‘Justice Mission 2025’, a large-scale joint military exercise around Taiwan. In this exercise, units of Army, Air Force, Navy and Artillery were deployed and live fire drill was also conducted.

On the occasion of New Year, Chinese President Xi Jinping took a very strict stance regarding Taiwan in his address. He clearly said that Taiwan will merge with China at any cost and no one can stop this process. After this statement of Xi, security agencies in Taiwan have come on high alert mode.

Response center fully active

Taiwan’s Coast Guard said that its Emergency Maritime Response Center is fully active and every activity of the Chinese Navy is being closely monitored. Taiwan’s defense minister said the military’s emergency security measures will continue as long as Chinese aircraft and warships are present nearby.

Meanwhile, Taiwan President Lai Ching-te has also given a strong response to China. In his live address on New Year’s Eve from the Presidential Office in Taipei, he said that Taiwan is fully committed to protecting its sovereignty and strengthening its security. President Lai said the international community is seeing how determined the Taiwanese people are to protect their democracy and security.

Iran upset after deal with America

Experts believe that this military exercise has been done at a time when recently a record arms deal worth $11.1 billion has been signed between Taiwan and America. Just 11 days after the announcement of this deal, this kind of military demonstration by China shows its increasing nervousness.

For the first time during ‘Justice Mission 2025’, China’s military openly said that the purpose of this exercise is to prevent external interference. Xi Jinping said in his speech that the people living on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are connected by the same blood and culture and the reunification of the motherland is historically destined.

Regional tension may increase

Apart from this, Xi Jinping also gave statements regarding Hong Kong and Macau. He said the policy of one country, two systems should be fully implemented and the two special administrative regions should be better integrated into China’s overall development.

It is noteworthy that after 2022, this is considered to be China’s biggest military exercise around Taiwan. Indications like live fire drills, deployment of warships and possible blockade indicate that regional tensions may increase further in the coming days.
