– Bleeding disorder patients: Omega-3 fatty acids thin the blood. People who have problems with blood clotting or have bleeding disorders should avoid walnuts, as it can increase the risk of bleeding.

– Before surgery: Those who are going to have an operation should stop consuming walnuts at least 2 weeks before. It thins the blood, which can lead to more bleeding and increased complications during surgery.

– People suffering from kidney stones: Walnuts contain oxalates, which can increase the problem of kidney stones. People who already have stone problems should not consume walnuts without doctor’s advice.
