New version of ‘Dhurandhar’ released in theater
On January 1, the audience will get a chance to see a new version of ‘Dhurandhar’ in the theatre. According to recent reports, some changes have been made in the film. However, the allegation of government interference in this matter has been proved wrong. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has confirmed that changes in the film have been made by the makers themselves.
Success and changes of ‘Dhurandhar’
The film ‘Dhurandhar’ starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role has done a business of more than Rs 1100 crore worldwide in just 27 days of its release. According to reports, the word ‘Baloch’ has been removed from the film on the instructions of India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The ministry has clarified that no order was given by the government, and the changes have been made voluntarily by the makers.
Ministry statement
The IB Ministry said, “No guidance was provided by us in this matter. The makers themselves proposed the change, which was examined as per the procedures laid down by the CBFC.” The ministry also said that it is important that films do not contain racial, religious or derogatory content towards any other group.
Since when is the new version running?
The Ministry has shared the information that this process under Rule 31 has been completed without any outside interference. In this way, the new version of ‘Dhurandhar’ has become available in theaters from January 1.
Release date of ‘Dhurandhar 2’
The film ‘Dhurandhar’ has been directed by Aditya Dhar. Along with Ranveer Singh, many major stars like Akshay Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi are included in this film. There has been a lot of love for this film from the audience. Now fans are eagerly waiting for its next part. The makers have told that the release date of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has been fixed for March 19, 2025.
