NEW DELHI: The craze to watch the India cricket team in action whenever Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli play is always at its peak, and the same was witnessed once again ahead of the India vs New Zealand 1st ODI.
Fans showed massive enthusiasm as tickets for the opening game were snapped up within minutes, underlining the unmatched pull of the two Indian stalwarts.

The first ODI against New Zealand will mark Rohit and Kohli’s first international appearance of 2026 and their return to action after the home series against South Africa in December 2025.
Online ticket sales for the IND vs NZ 1st ODI went live on the BookMyShow website and application on January 1.
As per reports, the tickets were completely sold out in just eight minutes, reflecting the huge demand among fans to watch Rohit and Kohli play for India. It is important to note that only the online tickets have been sold out so far, while the dates for offline ticket sales are yet to be announced.
The Indian squad for the three-match ODI series against New Zealand will be announced on January 3.
