PM Modi has hinted at a big revolution in the transport sector on the very first day of the year. Soon India’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train is going to run on the tracks. Along with this, through the PRAGATI meeting, the PM has made it clear that projects worth more than Rs 85 lakh crore are now in superfast mode. The PM’s goal is clear—’Reform, Perform and Transform’.

Ayushman’s armor and new schemes for the elderly

From this year, all elderly people above 70 years of age will start getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Apart from this, new facilities of pension and insurance are also being implemented for e-Shram card holders. The government’s focus is now not only on infrastructure but also on the ‘ease of living’ of the common man.

India’s strength will increase in the sea also

The Prime Minister has announced that the year 2026 will be celebrated as the ‘ASEAN-India Year of Maritime Cooperation’. This will not only boost trade but will also strengthen India’s strategic hold in South-East Asia.
