The video of the actress that is going viral is a part of Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, in which Nusrat Bharucha spoke openly about religion and her faith. In the video, Nusrat says that her faith is true for her, this faith strengthens her. Nusrat said, ‘That’s why I am still strong and connected, and I know that I have to walk on this path.’

Nusrat further said, ‘Wherever you find peace, you should go there, be it a temple, Gurudwara or church. I openly say that I offer Namaz. If I get time, I offer namaz five times a day. I keep my namaz mat with me even while travelling. Wherever I go, I find the same peace and tranquility. I have always believed that God is one and there are many ways to connect with Him and I want to explore all those ways.

After Nusrat Bharucha visited the Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain, a statement from the National President of All India Muslim Jamaat, Maulana Shahabuddin Rajavi Barelvi came out, in which he said, ‘Worshipping according to Sharia law is a big crime. These actions are against Islam. Nusrat should repent for this.
