Hindu organizations attack Shahrukh Khan: IPL controversy

Controversy over participation of Bangladeshi players in IPL

There is increasing resentment among Hindu organizations regarding the participation of Bangladeshi players in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan is being targeted on this issue. District President of All India Hindu Mahasabha in Agra, Meera Rathore has given a controversial statement against Shahrukh Khan. He said that whoever cuts Shahrukh Khan’s tongue will be given a reward of Rs 1 lakh. He gave this statement while recording his statement in the case of Anirudh Acharya Maharaj in Mathura Court.

Meera Rathore’s statement and protest

Mira Rathore said that incidents of burning of Hindu brothers alive are taking place in Bangladesh, and Shahrukh Khan is giving jobs to people of the same country. They smeared black ink on a poster of Shahrukh and hit it with slippers. He said that if this happens to our brothers, we will not tolerate it. He also said that whoever cuts out Shahrukh Khan’s tongue will be given a reward of Rs 100,000.

Reaction of Hindu organizations

Before Mira Rathore, religious preacher Devaki Nandan Thakur and BJP leader Sangeet Som have also given statements against Shahrukh Khan, and have even been called traitors. However, BJP or any other big leader has not yet reacted to these statements. Following the killing of several Hindus in the recent violence in Bangladesh, Hindu organizations have sought intervention from the government. Earlier Shahrukh Khan was not in this controversy, but after the inclusion of Bangladeshi players in IPL, he has become a victim of criticism.
