New Highway: State-of-the-art four-lane highway will be built in Uttar Pradesh, vehicles will speed at a speed of 100 km/h
New Highway: There is great news for the travelers and businessmen of Uttar Pradesh. A 101 km long state-of-the-art four-lane highway is going to be built from Barabanki to Bahraich. This project, to be built at a cost of about Rs 7000 crore, will make the journey from Lucknow to Bahraich very easy and fast.
At present, it takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Bahraich from Lucknow, but after the construction of the new four lane highway, this distance can be covered in just 1 hour 15 minutes to one and a half hours. Vehicles will be able to run at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour on this highway, which will save time as well as reduce fuel expenses and maintenance costs of vehicles.
35 small and big bridges and 27 underpasses will be built on this 101 kilometer long four-lane highway. Apart from this, keeping road safety in mind, it will be completely equipped with modern technology. Automatic traffic management system will be installed on the highway and more than 50 hi-tech cameras will monitor it 24×7, which will enable control of accidents and quick action in emergency situations.
This project will not only ease transportation but will also accelerate the economic development of Barabanki, Bahraich and the entire Awadh region. Considering the proximity of Bahraich to Nepal border, this highway is also expected to boost international trade. Local farmers, traders and entrepreneurs will get direct benefits from this.
The project has received formal approval and its tender process is likely to start soon. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the local people and business class regarding the highway. In the coming time, the journey from Lucknow to Bahraich will be completed in a really “fast” manner.
