Veteran Pakistani actress Asma Abbas has strongly criticized social media platforms for spreading misleading and sensational content involving Bushra Ansari and actor Feroze Khan.
Addressing the issue, Asma Abbas said that Bushra Ansari’s innocent and affectionate remarks were deliberately taken out of context to create controversy. She explained that Bushra had merely spoken about developing a warm, respectful bond with Feroze Khan while working together, describing it as a caring, almost family-like relationship.
However, Asma expressed outrage that certain social media pages twisted these comments into false claims, suggesting inappropriate intentions and even fabricating statements about marriage. She called such reporting unethical and accused content creators of prioritizing clicks and views over truth and dignity.
Asma Abbas said the distorted headlines left her deeply upset and angry, questioning how people could spread such baseless stories without fear of accountability. She emphasized that such behavior damages reputations and reflects a disturbing mindset driven by sensationalism.
The misleading content reportedly circulated widely on TikTok, reigniting debate about irresponsible digital journalism and the need for ethical standards on social media.
Asma Abbas, known for her powerful performances in dramas like Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Chupke Chupke, and Radd, urged audiences to verify information and resist sharing unverified content that harms artists and their families.
Earlier, Pakistani actor Feroze Khan’s current wife, Syeda Zainab, and his ex-wife, Aliza Sultan, engaged in a heated public dispute on Instagram after Sultan requested winter clothes for her child.
The incident began when Aliza Sultan shared a post on Instagram asking her former husband to provide winter uniforms and clothing for their child. The post has since been deleted.
Zainab responded sharply, criticizing Sultan for raising personal matters on a public platform. She accused Sultan of repeatedly disturbing Feroze Khan and affecting his mental well-being. Zainab also claimed that Sultan had been contacting Feroze using her family members’ numbers and warned her to stop.
