Bullet Train: The dream of Indian railway passengers to board a bullet train is going to be fulfilled soon. Trains will soon be seen running on the corridor being built between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has clarified the picture regarding this project. According to him, common people will soon be able to ride the train, it will be opened in a phased manner.
Train will run between Surat and Bilmora
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given a big update regarding the operation of Bullet Train. According to media reports, the bullet train will be opened in a phased manner. In its first phase, the section from Surat to Bilmora will be opened. After this, high speed train will run from Vapi to Ahmedabad, Thane in Maharashtra to Ahmedabad in Gujarat. In the last phase, the bullet train corridor will be completed after Mumbai and Ahmedabad. According to the Railway Minister, India’s first bullet train will be completely ready by 15 August 2027. Its operation will start for common people.
The train will run at a speed of 320 km per hour
There is a 508 km long high speed corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. This corridor has been designed to operate trains at a speed of 320 km per hour. The journey between the two major cities will be completed in 2.17 hours.
Sabarmati station of Ahmedabad, the largest city of Gujarat, will be connected to the bullet train corridor. This project was started in the year 2017, its end date was fixed for December 2023. This project was delayed due to land acquisition and other problems. Now Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given a big gift, the bullet train will run from next year i.e. 2027.
