Nicholas Lee’s tenure will begin with Australia tour
A source told PTI that after the WPL, Nicholas Lee will become the strength and conditioning coach of the Indian women’s cricket team. After the WPL, the Indian women’s team will tour Australia from February 15 to March 9, in which it will play series in multiple formats. This tour will mark the beginning of his tenure.

Nicholas Lee has a lot of experience
Nicholas Lee has been a good batsman and has scored 490 runs in 13 first class matches. Most recently, he was the strength and conditioning coach of the Gulf Giants in the fourth season of the UAE IL T20 League. Before this, Lee had been the strength and conditioning coach of the Afghanistan men’s team from January 2024 to December 2025. She has immense experience, which can be useful to the Indian women’s team.

Have also worked with Bangladesh Cricket Board
Apart from this, Nicholas Lee has also worked with Bangladesh Cricket Board from March 2020 to January 2024. He also served as the strength and conditioning coach of the Sri Lanka men’s team between October 2016 and March 2020. He was the Chief Strength and Conditioning Coach at Sussex County Cricket Club from March 2012 to September 2016 and has also been the Assistant.

Indian women’s team will play series in all three formats on Australia tour
