New Delhi/Balochistan. Prominent Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch, exiled from Balochistan in Pakistan, met India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. By writing an open letter to Jaishankar, he has created a stir in the politics of South Asia. In this letter, Mir Yar Baloch not only underlined the historical relations between India and Balochistan, but also directly attacked the existence of Pakistan and its policies.

While wishing New Year to 140 crore people of India on behalf of six crore citizens of Balochistan, Mir Yar Baloch said that the relations between India and Balochistan are not only diplomatic but also linked to thousands of years of cultural and religious heritage. He said that the heritages of faith like Hinglaj Mata Temple are living proof of the shared history of both the regions.

In the open letter, the Baloch leader wrote in very sharp words that Pakistan has been imposing oppression, atrocities and violence on the Baloch people for the last 69 years. He claimed that every citizen of Balochistan stands with India in this fight and now the time has come to end this “artificial system” completely.

Mir Yar Baloch openly praised the strict action taken by India after the Pahalgam terror attack and ‘Operation Sindoor’. Describing the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as courageous and decisive, he said that the stand taken by India against terrorism is a message to the entire region.

The letter also gives a serious warning regarding the China-Pakistan alliance. Mir Yar Baloch expressed apprehension that if the independent forces of Balochistan did not get support soon, China might deploy its troops there. He said that the Chinese military presence in Balochistan will not only disturb the regional balance but can also become a big threat to India’s security in the future. At the end of the open letter, Mir Yar Baloch appealed to India not to consider the conflict in Balochistan as just an internal issue, but consider it a question related to human rights, freedom and regional security.
