Adam Ramsay’s mother, Caroline, who was not invited to her son’s wedding, recently shared a cryptic message that has sparked concern.
The athlete got married to famous TV personality, Gordon Ramsay’s daughter, Holly, as he left his family due to conflicts on December 27.
Now that the wedding is over, the mum of the swimmer turned to social media as she shared an emotional post, revealing that she is hurt due to her son’s action.
The reposted post on her Instagram story read, “I won’t end this year pretending everything was fine. I lost a piece of myself this year that I will never get back, and I’m not forcing a smile like it didn’t change me.”
She suggested through the post that she hopes the upcoming year will heal her and, “that my heart never has to break like this again, that I never have to survive something like this again.”
The post read further, “I’ll be praying for peace…. real peace, the kind that lets me breathe without fighting for it. I deserve a year that doesn’t hurt.”
This comes after Caroline told the Daily Mail that she is broken-hearted over her son’s move, “Me going would just cause even more of a storm and I don’t want to ruin his wedding day. I wanted to be there quietly to watch him get married, but that can’t happen now.”
She added that she is someone who sees positive in everything and that he does not understand how much he has hurt her, “it’s as if they have cut my heart out.”
