Stock Market Today: Stock market continues to rise for the second day, Sensex-Nifty shine with gains
MumbaiDomestic stock markets Sensex and Nifty registered a rise in early trading on Friday, BSE Sensex rose 158,19 points to 85,346,79 in early trade and NSE Nifty rose 55,8 points to 26,202,35,
Among the 30 companies included in the Sensex, shares of Asian Paints, Maruti, Bharat Electronics, NTPC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles were the biggest gainers. Whereas shares of ITC, Titan Company, HCL Tech and Kotak Mahindra Bank declined.
In Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi, China’s SSE Composite and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng were among the gainers. US markets were closed on Thursday due to the New Year holiday. International standard Brent crude stood at $ 61.13 per barrel with a gain of 0.46 percent.
According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were sellers on Thursday and sold shares worth a net Rs 3,268.60 crore. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 1,525.89 crore.
