New Delhi. The controversy over buying Bangladeshi players in the Indian Premium League (IPL) is increasing. Now this dispute has come between two religions. Earlier, Hindu storyteller Devkinandan Thakur had warned the KKR team and its owner Shahrukh Khan on this. Now Maulana Sajid Rashidi, President of All India Imam Association has also hit back. During this, Maulana gave a controversial statement and said that ‘If Muslims do not tolerate it, there can be riots in the country within a minute.’ Actually, Shahrukh Khan’s team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has bought Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman in IPL. Regarding which Hindu leaders and storytellers had warned Shahrukh Khan. But now Muslim Maulana has also come out in support of Shahrukh Khan.
What did Maulana Rashidi say?
Maulana Sajid Rashidi said on the statement given by Devkinandan Thakur on Shahrukh Khan, “Devkinandan Thakur should not give such a statement because this is the same Devkinandan Thakur, who had called a Dharma Sansad inside Delhi, and in that Dharma Sansad, the way Muslims were cursed, the way Muslims were targeted.” He further said, “Don’t let them run the rickshaws, don’t do business with them, don’t rent shops, don’t rent houses, don’t do transactions with them. Such talks were held in Dharma Sansad. Even today, Devkinandan Thakur is saying similar things which is not appropriate. If Shahrukh Khan has bought a Bangladeshi cricketer from Kolkata Knight Riders, then what is the harm in it.”
Protest due to being a Muslim
Maulana Sajid Rashidi said, “Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman and the person who bought him are both Muslims, that is why there is protest in the country. This protest is the result of hatred against Muslims and Islamophobia. He said that now it has become a habit in the country to protest without thinking, without knowledge of the Constitution. It becomes very easy to protest as soon as the name Muslim comes.”
Maulana gave controversial statement
Sajid Rashidi said that when the cricket team belongs to Shahrukh Khan. So who will he feed and who will not, what does this have to do with you? If anything happens against the Constitution during this period, the government will take care of it, but who are you? What is your position who are protesting? During this, he also gave a controversial statement. In which it was said that if Muslims do not tolerate it, there can be riots in the country within a minute. It is wise of the Muslims to exercise patience.
