ChatGPT company leaves Google behind, offering package of Rs 13.5 crore for AI jobs

Desk. In the recent past, there has been a perception regarding AI that jobs will be lost in many sectors in the coming times. If you are also scared about AI, then let us tell you that the company making ChatGPT is offering salaries worth crores of rupees for AI jobs. The company has left behind big companies like Google. There is going to be a large number of vacancies in the AI sector in the coming times. ChatGPT maker OpenAI has recently offered a package of Rs 1.5 million i.e. an average of Rs 13.5 crore in AI.

According to the information, Open AI is offering an average package of 1.5 million dollars i.e. about Rs 13.5 crore to its employees, which is many times more than the packages offered by big tech companies. At present OpenAI has a workforce of about 4 thousand. Accordingly, this becomes such a huge amount, which is many times less than before Google’s IPO. When Google launched its IPO in 2003, the company’s stock-based package was 7 times less than that of OpenAI.

According to the report, OpenAI’s package is 34 times more than the package received by 18 other big tech companies around the world that year before their IPO. This shows how high the demand for AI skills is going to be in the market in 2026. Recently, OpenAI has prepared to increase the equity payment of top researchers and engineers to remain in the AI sector.

Due to this huge package of OpenAI, some of the company’s employees have become among the richest people in America. However, this package of the company also has some disadvantages. Due to heavy package, the average loss of operation of the company is increasing. Also, they are continuously diluting the shares of existing shareholders. Talking about other companies, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has offered a salary package of crores of rupees to hire AI researchers. The salary of some positions of Meta’s AI researchers has even reached nearly 1 billion dollars. Many OpenAI employees have also switched to Meta for this reason.
