McGregor vs Chandler: The UFC White House event confirmed for 2026?

The combat sports world is buzzing as arch-rivals Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler gear up to face off. The two have been calling each other out for the “White House Card,” which is expected to take place in 2026.

Conor McGregor released a video on New Year’s Day teasing the historic fight against Michael Chandler on June 14, 2026, coinciding with the 250th anniversary of the United States.

McGregor told reporters, “The Mac is excited to get back for sure. I’m on it. Michael Chandler and I. He’s a good, tough guy.”

Dana White hinted that the White House event will be the most exclusive in sports history

Chandler has also expressed confidence about finally facing “The Notorious” on the South Lawn.

“It does sound like I might be handing Conor McGregor a good, old fashioned, passionate, red, white, and blue butt whooping on the south lawn of the White House sometime this summer.”

While McGregor vs Chandler was initially set for UFC 303 in June 2024, the bout was cancelled after Mystic Mac broke his toe. Following that, the two-division champion was sidelined by an 18-month suspension for anti-doping whereabouts failures.

Although Dana White has called this event one of the most exclusive in sports history, nothing is officially confirmed.

The UFC has yet to finalise the paperwork and announce the final date for when the world’s most famous presidential office will become a battleground.
