Zimbabwe team announced for T20 World Cup, Sikandar Raza will take command, this former RCB player also got a place
Zimbabwe Cricket Board on Friday (December 2) announced its 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 to be played from February 7 to March 8, jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The command of this team has been handed over to experienced all-rounder Sikandar Raza, who has been Zimbabwe’s most reliable player for a long time.
Consistency has been given priority in team selection. Most of the players involved in the recent T20 tri-series played in Pakistan have been retained. Apart from this, fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani has returned to the team after returning from injury. Muzarabani has also been a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team as a replacement for Lungi Ngidi in IPL 2025.
