In the international market too, the spot price of gold remained soft and it was seen trading at $ 4,308.30 an ounce.

According to experts, gold and silver prices in India are influenced by domestic demand as well as global factors like international market, movement of dollar, interest rates and geopolitical situation. For this reason, fluctuations in prices have been seen on the first day of the year.

Today the price of 24 carat gold in Delhi bullion market is Rs 1,35,030 per 10 grams. Whereas 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,23,790 per 10 grams.

Rate of Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata

Today the price of 24 carat gold in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata has been recorded at Rs 1,34,880 per 10 grams. In these cities, 22 carat gold is available at Rs 1,23,640 per 10 grams.

Prices in Pune and Bengaluru

Gold prices in Pune and Bengaluru are also almost the same. Here 24 carat gold is trading at Rs 1,34,880 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is trading at Rs 1,23,640 per 10 grams.

Today’s gold rate in other big cities

In Ahmedabad and Bhopal, 24 carat gold is Rs 1,34,930 and 22 carat gold is Rs 1,23,690 per 10 grams. In Jaipur, Lucknow and Chandigarh, the price of 24 carat gold has been recorded at Rs 1,35,030 and the price of 22 carat gold has been recorded at Rs 1,23,790 per 10 grams.

Great growth in 2025, hope in 2026 also

During the entire year 2025, a strong increase of about 73.45 percent was seen in the prices of gold. Experts believe that due to global uncertainties and demand for safe investments, the bullish trend in gold may continue in 2026.

Silver price also declined

Along with gold, silver prices have also softened on the first day of the new year. The price of silver in the domestic market has come down to Rs 2,38,900 per kg. The spot price of silver in the international market was recorded at $ 71.67 per ounce.
