Aryna Sabalenka wants rematch with Nick Kyrgios
The world of tennis is buzzing with the new statement issued by the four-time Grand Slam champion, Aryna Sabalenka.
She was defeated by the former world number 13 Nick Kyrgios in a “Battle of the Sexes” exhibition match held in Dubai.
Sabalenka came into the limelight once again after demanding a rematch under new rules, calling it a revenge.
“I always say that when you are losing, you are learning and I learned a lot about his game. I would do it again. I need revenge.”
The recent contest was compared to 1973 “Battle of the Sexes” between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King.

The exhibition match sparked a controversy featuring a single-serve restriction for both players and a smaller court for Sabalenka.
The Belarusian tennis player explained, “I think for the next match we will come up with a different format. I think I would keep the full court but I would take two serves. That would even our level a lot more.”
However, critics believe that a rematch based on equal rules would ultimately undermine the progress made towards women’s tennis and equality.
Tennis fans across the globe are rallying behind the Sabalenka’s confident call for revenge.
