Thai club striker scores more goals than Cristiano Ronaldo in 2025
Buriram United striker Guilherme Bissoli has delivered a stellar season, placing above Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in the world’s most prolific scorers in 2025.
The Brazilian striker finished the year eighth on the list after netting 44 goals in 60 games for the Thai champions. Bissoli scored in Buriram’s 1-1 draw against Vietnamese club CAHN in the ASEAN Club Championship earlier in December.
Bissoli’s tally placed him one spot ahead of Ronaldo, who managed 41 goals in 46 games for Al Nassr and the Portugal national team, before turning 41 in February.

Ronaldo’s career rival, Lionel Messi, ranks sixth with 46 goals in 54 matches. At 38, Messi still earns worldwide admiration. While not as explosive as during his prime, the Argentine superstar remains Inter Miami’s greatest inspiration in their historic MLS championship season.
Leading the list is none other than Kylian Mbappe. The 27-year-old striker ended 2025 with a near-perfect performance (66 goals in 67 matches), averaging one goal per game. The French star exploded in form for Real Madrid, becoming the number one striker at the Bernabeu.
Following closely was England captain Harry Kane, who continued his stellar form for Bayern Munich and his country, netting 60 goals in 65 appearances to confirm his status as one of Europe’s most complete strikers.
Erling Haaland secured the third spot with 57 goals in 55 matches, along with a series of records broken, helping the Norwegian striker maintain his position among the most formidable goal scorers.
The other names on the list are strikers from various leagues, including Puerto Rico’s Kevin Hernandez of Puerto Rico SSC and Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who continued to excel at Galatasaray, Greek striker Vangelis Pavlidis of Benfica and Puerto Rico’s Jorge Rivera of Metropolitan FA.
