Uma Bharti upset over Indore drinking water issue: Resignation sought from Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava

Indore, 2 January. BJP’s fire brand leader and former Chief Minister Sadhvi Uma Bharti has lashed out at her own state government over the continuously increasing number of deaths due to polluted drinking water in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh, which has consistently won the award for the country’s cleanest city and has demanded the resignation of local MLA and Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijay Vargiya and Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava.

In fact, so far 14 people have died due to contaminated drinking water in Bhagirathpura of the city. At the same time, when Kailash Vijayvargiya and Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, in order to gain the sympathy of the common people, made a statement that the officers do not listen, this move backfired for them. After this, Uma Bharti untied his wrist and reminded him of the dharma of politics and asked for his resignation. The public is also ringing the bell on social media.

The mayor described himself as innocent and helpless

When ACS (Additional Chief Secretary) Sanjay Dubey reached Indore to immediately solve all the problems in the Bhagirathpura incident, politics was done in this meeting also. After the meeting, Bhargava told the media that he had vented out all his anger in front of the Additional Chief Secretary. I have even said that you should tell the Chief Minister that I cannot work in such a system. Overall, the mayor tried to portray himself as innocent and helpless so that the public becomes soft towards him.

Vijayvargiya has also cried foul against the officers.

At the same time, Kailash Vijayvargiya, the most powerful leader of Indore and the most powerful minister of Madhya Pradesh government, has often complained to the officials regarding the issue of his area. Although this is their own department. Even after this he said that the officers do not listen to him.

Uma Bharti said – There is no explanation for such sins.

In this matter, instead of accepting their responsibility, when Vijayvargiya and the Mayor together started blaming the Collector-Commissioner and other officials, the temper of former CM Uma Bharti, who has been silent about the affairs of Madhya Pradesh for a long time, rose. He targeted Vijayvargiya and the Mayor by making three consecutive posts one after the other on social media platform they wrote –

  1. In the matter of Indore contaminated water, who is saying that we have no luck?
  2. When it did not work for you then why did you keep drinking Bisleri water while sitting on the post? Why did you not leave the post and reach among the public?
  3. There is no explanation for such sins, either atonement or punishment!

People are also continuously ringing the bell on social media

Apart from Sadhvi Uma, the general public has also directly targeted Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava and local MLA and Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya in this matter. Vijayvargiya had tried to dominate the questions. After this the situation worsened further. Congress party and opposition parties could not do much, but the public has given a very strong reaction. This sequence continues continuously.

People are continuously ringing the bell on social media. People are asking Mayor Bhargava that while accepting awards, you become very grand and today when it comes to taking responsibility, you are calling yourself innocent like a school child. If the chair is not stable then resign. What is the need to tell the Chief Minister?
