Fog in Delhi
According to the IMD, the cold spell in the national capital, Delhi, may intensify further. Dense fog is expected in the city on January 3, 2026, for which a yellow alert has been issued. Dense fog is also likely to be observed during the morning and night hours. This is likely to affect traffic once again.
Uttarakhand Weather

Madhya Pradesh Weather

Light fog in some areas has not significantly affected visibility. According to the Meteorological Department, the impact of fog may be seen in several districts, including Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, and Datia, from January 3 to 5.
Rain in these states
The IMD has issued a warning for rain in some parts of Tamil Nadu. Heavy rainfall alerts have also been issued for Kerala, Puducherry, and Telangana. Light rain is also possible in some parts of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. People have been advised to take precautions.
