This touching film has now reached another milestone. ‘Tighi’ has been officially selected in the Marathi Cinema Competition section of the 24th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF). The film, which explores the unspoken feelings, memories and sentiments of women in the mother-daughter relationship, will be released on March 6, 2026. This movie is produced by Neha Pendse Bias, Nikhil Mahajan, Suhrid Godbole, Swapnil Bhangale. Also earlier this team’s films ‘Pune 52’, ‘Godavari’, ‘June’, ‘Raosaheb’ have been screened in this festival. His journey continues with the Pune International Film Festival on the occasion of ‘Tighi’.
As the ‘fourth chapter of the three’s lives’ unfolds, the emotional ups and downs of relationships and different outlooks on life during the changing times are effectively portrayed in the film. The film is directed by Jijivisha Kale and three strong actresses Bharti Achrekar, Neha Pendse Bias and Sonali Kulkarni will be seen in important roles in the film.
